05/17 Update at Livin-it-up
Livin-It-Up.net
Dear Simmers,
It's been a busy couple of weeks around Livin-It-Up. We hope you will join us in welcoming our newest staff member, Puluz. We're all pleased that she agreed to join us with awesome objects and new and unusual twists in walls and floors. Welcome to you, Puluz!
Guess what? Cravze has already been hard at work, turning out two beautiful SuperStar sofa sets. He also adds a delightful assortment of wall art and LL rugs! Speaking of wall art, wait until you see the beautiful pieces Slim crafted for you. Mirrors and metals, in just the right proportion. Crystal Dreamer has crafted a cozy living room set, right down to the walls, Ohmikeghod has reignited gear-head fever with three great Ford hot rods and Puluz is off to a great start with assorted furnishings for your trend setter Sims.
We have several hacked objects from our newest guest contributor Inge Jones. The current series of objects she calls the "the reserve-able object collection", included are bath, kitchen and living room items, as well as an interior door, that can be claimed for exclusive use. Bella getting tired of Morty using her new bathtub? Give her one of Inge's new tubs and Morty won't be able to use it unless you change the ownership to his. Better yet, use the new privacy door and the whole bathroom will be off-limits!
NorthernKat, Puluz, and Crystal Dreamer have packed in a couple dozen or so walls and floors ranging from traditional to quirky. Need an elegant fabric wall covering for your model Sims dressing room? We have it! How about a cool, dice based game room or casino floor? You won't believe it 'til you see it!
To round out this update and guarantee a little something for everyone, we offer fabulous new skins. Simmies need nighties? Check out Nada's sheer chemise skins. Lachelle offers racy lingerie too, with a matched bra and panties set that sizzles once thigh high stockings are added! Lachelle also designed several wonderful casual skins for your red-hot Sim chicks!
NOTE: As many of you already know, the Livin-It-Up staff was disappointed to learn of vote tampering during the public voting stage of our Landscape Design Contest. We could have followed the rules to the letter and canceled the entire contest, but knowing how hard our contestants worked, we hated to see everyone lose out because a few people behaved selfishly. Our solution was to close the public voting altogether and allow our staff, affiliates, and webmasters of sites involved with the contest to decide the winners.
Announcement dates will remain as scheduled, results will be posted, and winning contestants notified and awarded their prize. A big thank you and a sincere apology to all innocent, well meaning participants that have been involved throughout our contest.
The staff,
